Bebe Winans gospel star is the first of several stars to perform.

Winans then delivers a powerful performance, as did singer Alicia Keys. Pop superstar Stevie Wonder to record memorable duet with Houston, said he has had "a little crush on him," before singing "The Ribbon in the Sky" with some lyrics changed in tribute to Houston.
Singer R. Kelly fought back tears as he sang the song "I Look To You," the song he wrote for the 2009 Whitney Houston comeback album of the same name. Cece Winans gospel star ended her performance by singing 'Yes, Jesus Loves Me, "which is the last song Houston once sang in public, on stage with friends at the club the day before his death.
Some more music and entertainment stars are also there to say goodbye to their friends, including the talk show titan Oprah Winfrey, singer Mariah Carey and actor Forest Whitaker.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is present, such as Newark Mayor Cory Booker.
Houston mother Cissy Houston, the much-maligned ex-husband, Bobby Brown, and their daughter, Bobbi Kristina is also present. The service, on a warm day under a clear blue sky, marked exactly one week after Houston - one of the biggest music stars of all time - was found dead in a hotel in Beverly Hills California. The cause of death has not been determined.
